Theme Similarity Test

The Theme Similarity Test is connected to the TAI. The Theme Similarity Test allows you to test and view the theme similarity of up to 5 web pages at a time. This is a great tool for selecting outbound and inbound links, as well as measuring your own website's TAI score for a particular keyword.

The Theme Similarity Test is a tool that will help with the promotion of your site; it also plays a big part in your link building strategy. In fact, in selecting off-site web pages for either inbound or outbound links, it is very important to know how similar the content of an off-site page is to those pages in you website that fall under a particular theme.

How you use it:

First, select a webpage for a potential inbound or outbound link. Then, enter its URL in the space provided and hit the "Test Similarity" button. It will then bring up a number that corresponds to the TAI. You can then measure that TAI number against the list of TAI scores on the Theme Analysis Index page to tell how similar your document is to the statistically significant documents represented by the Frequency Distribution Table on the Theme Analysis Index page. The closer a TAI score is to the highest TAI score, the better.

Of course, besides using the Theme Similarity Test to determine the best candidates for your link building strategy, a key component of the Theme Similarity Test is being able to find out what your own website's TAI score is by putting in your own URL.
